It combines patented learning algorithms, knowledge analytics, and diagnostic capabilities to help you drive learning outcomes for an exceptional return on your training investment.  This delivery meets the learner where they are and provides analytics on each learner that can be used to provide targeted coaching.

Watch this short video to learn how Amplifire’s adaptive learning platform is proven to help people master faster, retain longer, and perform better.

Using Amplifire’s platform and Tegria’s deep EHR and change management expertise, your learners will leave their training with the confidence required to perform their day-to-day jobs. As a leader, you will have insight into each learner’s mastery of content, and receive analytics to help tackle knowledge gaps, confidently held misinformation, and specific learner needs. For your training team, the analytics and data provide a means to drive continuous improvement in the learning content they own.

We have authors certified in authoring Amplifire questions, modules, and courses. We work with your trainers to map your existing curriculum, make decisions about how to best cover your learning objectives, facilitate and incorporate SME and stakeholder feedback, and customize existing courses from the Amplifire libraries.  We can also help to design and build net new questions, modules, and courses.  Additionally, Tegria will work with you to facilitate the needed integrations, the communication and socialization of the shift to adaptive learning, and the operationalization of the platform.

The evidence shows that Amplifire:

  • Increases learning retention
  • Engages learners and personalizes the learning experience
  • Detects and corrects misinformation before it leads to costly errors
  • Effects change and improved decision-making and outcomes

Amplifire leverages, based on their Science Advisory Board’s research and findings, 23 of 26 brain science principles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will we need to create new courses for my organization?

There is an existing library that includes over 80 healthcare courses and hundreds of modules. Some of the topics in the library include Electronic Health Records, Safety and Quality, Compliance, Organizational Culture, Hospice & Palliative Care, Obstetrics, Device Management, and Analytics and Improvements Literacy.

You can start quickly by using the existing quality and compliance courses that were co-developed with many of the nation’s leading healthcare systems. All the courses in the libraries are customizable to your organization’s systems, policies, and procedures by using Amplifire’s authoring platform.

Original courses can also be created. These can be used just for your organization or be shared with the Alliance Members for a revenue share.

What is involved with an Amplifire Implementation and how long does it take to customize Amplifire courses?

It takes 8-20 weeks to customize and implement courses, depending on which courses you choose to use, to their specific audiences (e.g., Inpatient RNs, Outpatient RNs, Outpatient Physicians, Inpatient Physicians) if you are partnered with Tegria.  Organizations that have done it on their own have taken upwards of a year.

Can my staff author Amplifire modules and courses?

Absolutely! If this is something that interests you, we can help your staff complete the certification process to use Amplifire’s authoring platform. Certification generally takes a week of dedicated, focused time for each author.

How does the training department support Amplifire after it’s been implemented?

Since Amplifire dramatically reduces the need for instructor-led training in the classroom, many organizations choose to repurpose classroom instructors and build a strong, strategic support strategy around Amplifire. The strategy makes use of learner analytics to focus follow-up efforts on knowledge gaps, areas of struggle, and confidently held misinformation

What supplemental education is offered beyond Amplifire to prepare staff to use Epic in the clinical setting?

In most cases, the organization makes Amplifire part of the first week of onboarding.  The learner’s journey may vary by role and by previous Epic experience and may include pre-learning, self-guided exercises, practice exercises in a classroom setting, and personalization labs. Once the Amplifire course is completed, educators can view the individual learner analytics to determine mastery or if additional follow-up is needed. Generally, <10% of learners need any kind of follow-up.  Some organizations still offer a one or two-hour classroom session to discuss specific workflows or policies that impact Epic workflows with providers, educators typically then have a 1:1 session for personalization, Dragon/Haiku/Canto setup, and training, etc.

Which is better; Amplifire or Articulate (or Captivate)?

The two platforms are different and used in different ways to achieve specific outcomes. They can co-exist and should co-exist as part of a robust training ecosystem. We have a deep understanding of both platforms and can help you decide when to use each platform.
