The role you play

An effective Custom Development & Integration Solutions Architect will help the organization on a whole achieve success through:

  • Working with customers in assessments to understand business needs and translating into a solution opportunity
  • Explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences at both internal teammates and clients
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Providing recommendations and best practices with deep knowledge understanding of specific solutions available in the industry
  • Participating in development activities as needed to support the development team
  • Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Participating as a team member in meetings and collaboration with team
  • Communicating regularly with others involved in the development process
  • Providing support for our healthcare clients
  • Meeting project deadlines in a remote setting
  • Partnering with our internal Tegria teams to help promote consulting work and team-specific services
  • Mentoring other consultants and development team members both internal and at clients on project activities and deliverables
  • Learning additional technologies as required and appropriate

What we're looking for

We expect:

  • Proven experience with software architecture and the ability to design applications
  • Willingness to present solutions and proposals to various groups when needed
  • Natural ability to lead diverse groups of people across multiple facets of the healthcare
  • Demonstrated strategic planning experience
  • Understanding of core technical tools and frameworks across multiple platforms and architectures
  • Deep understanding of the development lifecycle with proven design and development experience, particularly using the full Microsoft stack (e.g. .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Core)
  • Experience in developing REST API’s, preferability on .NET MVC WEB.API
  • Experience with integration of systems using standard technologies
  • Experience managing project scope and timelines
  • Familiarity with SQL database design and analysis
  • Understanding of Cyber Security concepts and coding best practices
  • Demonstrated understanding of a systems approach to technical solutions and use of systems engineering processes

We'd love to see:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field – or comparable development experience
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Experience with cloud tools and platforms
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. VueJS, ReactJS and/or similar libraries)
  • Experience with HTML and web development frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery)
  • Experience developing with Entity Framework or other Code First frameworks
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Healthcare knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of Epic software capabilities and functions
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other project management tools
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools
  • Experience with authentication and authorization concepts (e.g. Owin, JWT, IAM)
  • Enjoy solving new and challenging problems
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design
