The role you play

The position is responsible for supporting efforts related to design, build, implementation, training, evaluation, testing, maintenance, and support of support of Cerner Millennium HIM applications. Establishes and maintains relationships at the appropriate level between Hospital and Clients, to provide appropriate escalation of issues and solution benefits.

The Records Management Analysts duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as an expert in Cerner Millenium functionality in the areas of HIM Profile, CPDI Kofax and Work Queue Monitor, Single Document Scanning, XR Clinical Reporting, and FormFast WFI.
  • Bring expertise to the project team from experience working with HIM related applications. Advise the team on design, customization, and workflow changes that will resolve current issues and improve experience for end users.
  • Actively participate in design, testing, and application support/troubleshooting of the above-mentioned applications
  • Creation and maintenance of Data Collection Workbooks (DCWs)
  • System testing and script writing
  • Support new site activations, either remotely or in person as needed
  • Create and monitor incident and configuration tickets (experience with JIRA is an asset)
  • Liaise with project Cerner resources to resolve issues and determine design possibilities. Keep the team up to date on the latest releases in HIM functionality that may be beneficial to the project

What we're looking for

We expect:

  • Candidates must have a proficient understanding of Health Records department procedures and related systems.
  • Preferred experience with implementing Cerner Millennium in a complex Ambulatory and Acute environment
  • Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of both front and back-end Cerner Millennium Tools and modules, specifically HIM Profile applications, CPDI including WQM and Kofax, XR Clinical Reporting, and FormFast WFI
  • Experience troubleshooting issues in Cerner, including a high-level understanding of the Cerner data model and architecture.
  • Experience in workflow analysis and future state design; previous project life cycle experience preferred
  • Understanding of PM Office, Bedrock an asset
  • Understanding of CCL an asset
