An effective Advisory Implementation Manager will help the organization on a whole achieve success through:

Program and Project Management

  • Leading and managing multiple, simultaneous projects in varying complexity from intake to delivery to project close
  • Working closely with client leadership and client stakeholders throughout new implementation projects
  • Proactively planning, prioritizing, and communicating with stakeholders, providing them with visibility into planned initiatives, progress, concerns, and mitigation plans
  • Performing project intake and scoping, project scheduling, resource planning, and monitor concurrent projects
  • Proactively managing change control, risk, and quality across projects
  • Collaborating with technical leadership on change control and shared processes that impact project implementation strategy
  • Facilitating and documenting key decisions and operational process workflows
  • Ensuring successful testing and validation of workflows
  • Facilitating escalation and resolution of risks and concerns
  • Drafting and executing project-related documentation including, but not limited to progress reports, project plans, testing scripts, etc.
  • Creating and drafting stylish and substantive engagement tools and templates to ensure consistency across engagements

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities that will help improve consistency and drive efforts that maximize business profitability.
  • Leading and communicating process streamlining efforts
  • Understanding the business by learning the key priorities and needs of each department, as well as the challenges in cross-functional areas


  • Leveraging your specialized skill set to serve as a thought leader on the team
  • Mentoring less experienced team members
  • Operating independently without guidance or oversight; monitoring your own work progression

What we're looking for

We expect:

  • Bachelor’s Degree an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of proven working experience in IT, operational, and/or process improvement project management
  • PMP and/or Agile Certification
  • Ability to work autonomously to drive results
  • Experience with standard project management tools to measure dependencies and downstream impact cross multiple cross functional teams
  • Experience in managing simultaneous, diverse projects across multiple business areas and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Experience driving continuous improvement efforts within large business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to facilitate small and large group meetings and discovery sessions
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to develop plans and execute at an advanced level using standard project management tools
  • Experience with, and appreciation for, Agile and PMI project management methodologies
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solving approach
  • Customer-service and employee-experience oriented
  • Effective at working collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Positive, solution oriented, self-directed, and quick learner
  • Able to work successfully without supervision, with extensive latitude for independent judgement
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert within the project management and/or process improvement field
  • Demonstrated ability in mentoring less experienced team members

We'd love to see:

  • Experience with business analysis and business process analysis concepts and approaches
  • Experience facilitating process improvement sessions
  • EHR system proficiencies or certifications, especially in Epic or MEDITECH
